We also have apple trees (apples anyone? please?) and everyone appeared ready at 8am with an apple for me.

I might be interested. Have they been sprayed or are they really wormy? DD wants some apple butter. My in-laws did not have enough apple last year for me to make any. I will check on their apple harvest.
We would LOVE to share some. They have not been sprayed (since it was foreclosed - I doubt the bank paid someone to spray the apple trees). Anyway, we haven't sprayed them. They are in surprisingly good shape. We've been using them and sometimes cut some parts off but nothing major.
